Sooner Acute Dialysis Services maintains a full quality assurance and regulatory compliance program to meet all the JCAHO requirements.

Our dialysis program grew from a rising demand for dialysis services at hospitals and acute care facilities. We service facilities who outsource their dialysis programs – inner city and rural hospitals.

The Acute Dialysis market is dominated by a few larger players who mainly specialize in Chronic Dialysis. We believe that there is a demand for independent, more flexible companies, specializing only in Acute Dialysis and who are willing to compete alongside these larger companies. We only do Acute Dialysis. This is our competitive advantage. We are a local, independent, Oklahoma company that has been in business since 2009. We are not affiliated with a Chronic Dialysis company. We can provide a higher quality service than these larger companies.

We understand the importance of timeliness in the delivery of our services – especially when a patient is in distress, or has a scheduled procedure. Being portable, our on-call nurses can respond to after-hours urgent/stat cases. Routine dialysis treatments can be arranged for any time. We staff our client hospitals so that we can provide our services as needed, around the clock, without hidden fees – just one set fee per treatment.

We are committed to serving the needs of our client hospitals and to delivering the highest quality service. We work closely with your physician and nursing staff to make sure all of our patients receive the highest quality care and are treated with respect. Working closely with staff and patients helps us to improve the quality of the service we offer. Our service commitment comes out of our core values: compassion, education, experience, flexibility, and quality.

All equipment is serviced and maintained by our bio medical service team. Dialysis machines are rinsed and disinfected as stated by manufactures guidelines. Regular inspections of our on-site storage facilities are performed to ensure that everything is kept clean and survey ready. We keep our dialysis equipment well maintained and bacteria free according to current AAMI standards. Since opening, the Joint Commission, VHA, and The Oklahoma Department of Health has inspected and passed our Acute Dialysis program with no deficiency and 100% compliance. Staff performance levels are also routinely evaluated in order to maintain the highest standards.

Our stable, local nursing staff, managers, medical directors and support staff have a long history of working in the Acute Dialysis field. Only well-trained, competent and fully qualified registered nurses and licensed hemodialysis technicians make up the Sooner Acute Dialysis Services team. All members are licensed and qualified to perform hemodialysis treatments within the acute hospital setting.

Large fluctuations in patient volume is no problem for our team. We make sure that when patient volume is high we have enough staff available to perform all treatments as scheduled. Many of our dialysis staff cross orient at multiple hospitals to ensure a consistent level of service and patient response time. That way, they travel to where they are needed. In addition, we employ a number of part time and per diem staff who assist us during higher volume periods.
